Or, Watch the first revenue departure of G-GSSF the last of the 3 brand new Boeing 747-8 aircraft ordered by Atlas Air delivered to Global Supply Systems and operating on behalf of BA World Cargo. The aircraft arrived and departed London Stansted on Friday 30th December 2011. Up close departure captured.

Filmed on Christmas Eve, and because I had such an exciting Christmas, edited and uploaded on Christmas Day! this video includes some more interesting visitors at Stansted including a first appearance in my videos of Belle Air F-ORAG Airbus A320, BMI Baby G-TOYJ, Martinair PH-MCP, Thomson 757, TItan G-ZAPX Boeing 757 and a Boeing 737 plus a number of others.

Filmed in Summer 2011 at Stansted, this video uploaded 27 November 2011 includes Martinair MD11F, AnadoluJet & Pegasus 737's, Atlantic Airways Avro RJ85 and Germanwings A319. The title sequence, set to music, also includes a timelapse sped up section of an EasyJet A319.

3)  Dublin Airport Spotting - October 2011
Filmed on 28 October 2011, this video contains some shots of aircraft at Dublin Airport, including a first for me, the Air France Beoing 747F - this being the first time I'd seen a 747 at Dublin. Also included are the usual visitors including Aer Lingus, Aer Arann Regional (Aer lingus regional), Etihad, Ryanair and a few more in the titles. This was only a fleeting visit as our trip was to Galway and we decided to drive over to Dublin to see what the journey was like, having always flown it in the past. The answer was, very long! and surprisingly expensive due to all the tolls along the route. That coupled with food poisioning on the trip didn't make for an altogether happy experience!!.
 

Recent Videos : Air Southwest - Goodbye

A tribute video made in celebration of Air Southwest, the regional UK airline based at Plymouth Airport. Having started operations in October 2003, the airline was acquired by Eastern Airways in December 2010. Initial plans to continue operating the airline ended when on September 30th 2011, Air Southwest ceased operating. Another loss to regional aviation. Staff at regional airlines work hard to create a niche, to build a brand and loyalty against the huge competition from established carriers. It is always sad when that comes to an end.
